SC Information 
Article 144 of the Constitution determines that the Supreme Court is the highest jurisdiction in the country. Article 145 confers the Supreme Court the attributions of coordinating and overseeing activities of Courts and Tribunals, while ensuring judiciary independence.

Primary Courts 



Primary Courts

There are sixty (60) Primary Courts in Rwanda with each Primary Court having two judges and two registrars.
There are Primary Courts in the city of Kigali, The west, East, North and South of the Country. 
Primary Courts handle criminal, civil and common provisions for Instance Courts.
