SC Information 
Article 144 of the Constitution determines that the Supreme Court is the highest jurisdiction in the country. Article 145 confers the Supreme Court the attributions of coordinating and overseeing activities of Courts and Tribunals, while ensuring judiciary independence.

ICT Unit 


This Unit is headed by a Director General

 Duties of the Director General of ICT:

  • Developing the policy and the master plan as regards the information technology of the Supreme Court and other Courts and Tribunals;

  • Ensuring the follow-up of the rational exploitation of the information technology facilities of the Supreme Court and other Courts and Tribunals;

  • Supervising the acquisition and or / initiating the production and the implementation of software applications that better address the specific needs of the Supreme Court and other Courts and Tribunals;

  • Providing help for the users of the information technology tool of the Courts and Tribunals while organizing seminars and conferences on the management of information technology facilities, sharing and exploiting information in the new information technology;

  • Giving technical advice in the Supreme Court and other Courts and Tribunals concerning Information Technology (I C T);

  • Organising, supervising and ensuring the physical and virtual security of the database of the Supreme Court and other Courts and Tribunals;

  • Controlling, orienting the exploitation and the dissemination of information from the database of the Supreme Court and other Courts and Tribunals;

  • Ensuring the coordination, the control, the evaluation of the execution of the duties of the Unit.
