His Lordship, the President of the East African Court of Justice (EACJ), Hon. Justice Nestor Kayobera, and his delegation paid a courtesy visit to the Chief Justice of Rwanda, Rt. Hon. Domitilla Mukantaganzwa, to congratulate her on her recent appointment as Chief Justice.

Their discussions centered on the upcoming 3rd Judicial Conference, scheduled to take place in Rwanda from February 18–19, 2025. Additionally, on rotation basis, the Supreme Court of Rwanda should provide two courtrooms for two weeks of court hearings at Nyamirambo, in the High Court premises, for two weeks of court sessions. One courtroom will be designated for the First Division and the other for the Appellate Division, with each Division comprising four judges.
